1. Overview

VitaraTech (“we,” “us,” or “our”) takes your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information we handle when you use the VitaraTech service and how we handle it.

VitaraTech is a browser-based tool. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not store your personal information or lab data on our servers beyond the duration of a single AI request.

2. Information We Handle

Lab result files (CSV and PDF)

When you upload a lab result file, it is parsed entirely in your browser. The raw file is never transmitted to or stored on VitaraTech’s servers.

Questions and lab data context

When you submit a question, we send two things to our server:

The text of your question.
A portion of your parsed lab data (up to approximately 28,000 characters of text extracted from your uploaded file) to give the AI context for its answer.

This data is used solely to generate your response and is not stored on our servers after the request completes.

No account or identity data

We do not collect your name, email address, date of birth, or any other identifying information. There is no account creation or login.

Usage data

Our hosting provider (Vercel) may collect standard server logs, including IP addresses and request metadata, as part of normal web infrastructure operation. We do not use third-party analytics trackers.

3. How We Use Your Information

The question and lab data context you send are used for one purpose only:

To forward to NVIDIA’s AI inference API, which generates the health coaching response shown to you.

We do not sell, rent, or share your lab data with any other third parties. We do not use your data for advertising or marketing.

4. Third-Party AI Processing (NVIDIA)

Your question and lab data excerpt are transmitted to NVIDIA’s API (integrate.api.nvidia.com) to generate AI responses. By using VitaraTech, you acknowledge that this data is processed by NVIDIA under their own privacy policy and terms of service.

We recommend you do not upload documents containing information you would not be comfortable sharing with a third-party AI service.

5. Sensitive Health Data

Lab results are sensitive health information. While we minimize transmission and do not store your data, please be aware of the following:

VitaraTech is not a HIPAA-covered entity.
Your lab data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections but is not subject to HIPAA protections.
You use VitaraTech at your own discretion and accept responsibility for any data you choose to upload.

6. Data Retention

We do not retain your lab data or questions on our servers. Each request is processed in memory and discarded after the response is returned to your browser.

Vercel infrastructure logs may be retained for a limited period as part of standard server operations. We do not have control over Vercel’s internal log retention policies.

7. Cookies and Tracking

VitaraTech does not use cookies, local storage for personal data, or any third-party tracking or analytics scripts.

8. Children's Privacy

VitaraTech is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has used the Service and submitted personal data, contact us at the email below.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
